Dear friends
As I told you before, my Jazz Bossanova Instrumental Group “Marineblue Bossa” will perform live concert at Somethin’ Jazz Club Tokyo(Ikebukuro) on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016, 2PM. Finally.. Its been 2 years since we performed last time at there.
We would like to perform tunes written by a great Brazilian composer of Bossa Nova, a maestro, Antonio Carlos Jobim, a.k.a the father of the Bossanova. We also would like to perform from Jazz standard repertoire and some from my original tunes.
Why am I playing Bossanova? Good question. Bossanova is 1950-60s of Brasilian music combined by Jazz and Samba. There are lot of beautiful tunes that I love them very much.
You can hear them at cafes or restraints but nobody knows the name of the tunes and who wrote/played them but actually everybody seems loving Bossanova. I believe Bossanova has power of music that fills your heart with atmosphere of happiness. So I am playing them. I would like you to listen to the melodies harmonies of Bossanova we play.
We really hope you will enjoy our show. We are looking forward to your coming over.
